Social Services Department

Overview

The Social Services Department of Jos North Local Government Council is responsible for promoting social welfare and community development. The department focuses on the wellbeing of vulnerable groups including women, children, the elderly and persons living with disabilities. It coordinates community development initiatives, social intervention programmes and empowerment schemes aimed at strengthening social inclusion and cohesion at the grassroots.
